This sketch was one of the last pieces I did for the art challenge with my brother earlier this year. My brother and I both have small children, and figuring out how to balance creativity and parenting is often difficult, and even before we dropped the challenge, I had started to get lazy with it in order to squeeze in some other art I was working on. But I’m still pleased with how this response to the “water” prompt turned out.
