While Dungeons and Dragons hasn’t really been a part of my life since my son was born, there was a period of a few years where my brother ran a couple very enjoyable campaigns for myself and some friends. This is the art I did for my character in the first campaign: a goblin rogue named Gitrash, or Gity for short. She started out on a mission to spy on the enemies of the goblins, but she wound up helping them save the workd instead. I’ve drawn her here with her messenger possum definitely-a-real-cat, Pig. Gity’s personality, which I’ve tried to capture in her character art, was a mix of wild, delighted hunger for life and disaster waiting to happen, which made her the most fun character I’ve ever roleplayed.

An earlier version of Gity’s character art imagined her as a concerning bard rather than a rogue. Pig later replaced the tambourine, and I tried to make Gity herself look more playful and childlike in the final version, but the scavenged clothing, the wild hair, and the leaf-nosed bat face stayed much the same.
